WEEKLY NEWSLETTER #34
All Trinity Lutheran School library books were due today, Friday, May 12th. Please return all school library books to the school office as soon as possible. Any books not returned by May 12th, will be billed to your account.
We are looking for a little army of volunteers to help in the library during school hours starting Monday, May 15th. It is that time of the year to inventory all library books. The more hands we have, the lighter the work load. If you are interested in helping, please see Mrs. Sniffen or Mrs. Kahapea in the school office. Due to inventory work, the LIBRARY is CLOSED for the rest of the school year.
The fourth through eighth grade Spring Concert is Wednesday, May 17th at 6:30 p.m. in the church. The choir will sing and the bands will play. Parking will be available behind the sanctuary, in the front parking lot and on the back playground. You won't want to miss this opportunity to see our children praise God through the gift of music.
Box Tops & Labels for Education Update
Thank you to all the families that continue to clip and submit Box Tops and Labels for Education. Currently, we have raised just over $800.00, which means we are just under $200.00 away from reaching our all school goal of $1,000.00. If this goal is met, students in all grade levels will enjoy a day of free dress and Otter Pops! The top collecting class will be rewarded with a pizza party! You have until next Friday, May 19th, to submit your Tops and Labels. Also, please keep in mind that the Labels for Education program will unfortunately come to an end this August. Therefore, please submit any Labels you may still have at home, as they will be invalid the following school year.
On Monday, May 22nd, we will recognize the exceptional talents and abilities of our students. This event will start at 6:30 p.m in the church. Students who participated on any sports team (volleyball or basketball), broke any PE records, or were in the BETA club are invited to celebrate with us. Following the recognition, the PTT will host a cake social. RSVP is not required, but please plan on attending this event.
